Product Description
This Copper Alloy Continuous Casting is used for casting strips of copper and its alloys. Two strands of cast strip can be produced at the same time. It consists of main frequency induction melting furnace with core, main frequency induction holding furnace with core, crystallizer, cooling water distribution system, withdrawal mechanism, coreless coilers and related electric and hydraulic systems.
There are two configurations for the furnace design, i.e. Melting-holding combined furnace and separate melting and holding furnaces, depending on the materials to be produced. Both furnaces adopt jet flow type inductors. The melting-holding combined furnace can help reduce heat loss, oxidation and gas absorbing of the melt, energy consumption and metal loss and improve the product quality. Separate furnaces are connected by launders. There are two kinds of launders to choose from, i/e replaceable launder and launder built on the melting furnace, both being covered.
